Maintenance Technician II, Building 3 - 2PM - 10PM, M-F

Location: 250 Chester St, Painesville, OH 44077, USA; onsite, Monday–Friday, 2:00 PM–10:00 PM.

What you will do

• Diagnose failures and repair manufacturing machinery, mechanical equipment, pneumatic tools, motors, conveyors, and production systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical equipment, including motors, controls, panels, relays, circuit breakers, automated machines, communication systems, and alarms.
• Install and maintain electrical circuits, complex wiring, conduit, power and lighting systems, and control equipment.
• Prepare machines for operation, perform planned and predictive maintenance, and follow preventive maintenance schedules to reduce downtime.
• Assist engineers with root-cause diagnosis, corrective actions, equipment improvements, and production support.
• Maintain repair logs, order replacement parts, inspect completed repairs, and keep the shop and production floor safe and organized.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience as an industrial electrician or multi-craft maintenance technician is preferred.
• Trade school certification or an associate degree in industrial maintenance, or equivalent journeyman-level training and experience, is preferred.
• Knowledge of plant utility systems, industrial machine repair, reliability techniques, machine tools, three-phase and control power, and basic input/output electrical devices.
• Working knowledge of relay logic, DC drives, PLC systems, electrical testing instruments, schematics, technical drawings, and equipment documentation.
• Strong communication, computer, teamwork, safety, service, quality, detail, flexibility, and dependability skills.
• Must be able to work overtime, including short-notice requests, and lift, push, or pull up to 50 lb.
