Engineer 3 (Solar)

Location: Remote in the U.S. or based in the Edison, NJ office; up to 20% travel to project sites or partner offices may be required.

Salary: $112,656–$135,188 per year.

What you will do

• Provide technical engineering and permitting input during RFP pursuits and preliminary design activities.
• Coordinate internal and external engineering disciplines, design deliverables, schedules, scopes, budgets, and consultant proposals.
• Review consultant work products and integrated multi-discipline designs for project requirements, SOLV standards, QA/QC, and risk.
• Manage Owner, Owner’s Engineer, and Independent Engineer submittals, comments, clarifications, and response closure.
• Coordinate permitting with federal, state, and local Authorities Having Jurisdiction and support permit application preparation and submission.
• Identify value engineering opportunities, process gaps, and changes affecting project scope, cost, or schedule.

Requirements

• 4–7 years of progressive engineering experience in EPC, renewable energy, utilities, or large-scale infrastructure projects.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering; electrical or solar experience is preferred.
• Engineer-in-Training (F.E.) certification.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, and Primavera P6 or similar scheduling tools.
• Strong organization, communication, collaboration, accountability, and prioritization skills in a fast-paced EPC environment.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without requiring employer sponsorship now or in the future.
