Salary: $98,614–$202,850 per year

What you will do

• Lead multidisciplinary consulting teams delivering power market studies, asset valuations, transaction support, and strategic advisory engagements.
• Oversee long-term energy, capacity, ancillary service, and renewable energy credit price forecasts across major U.S. power markets.
• Review power market modeling using PROMOD, PSLF, and other analytical tools.
• Manage client relationships, present analyses to executive audiences, and support proposal development and account growth.
• Develop thought leadership and enhance proprietary forecasting models, databases, and analytical capabilities.
• Mentor junior consultants and support recruiting, onboarding, training, and performance development.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, economics, finance, operations research, mathematics, energy systems, or a related quantitative field.
• 7+ years of relevant experience for Manager or 10+ years for Senior Manager.
• Expertise in one or more major U.S. power markets, including ERCOT, PJM, NYISO, ISO-NE, MISO, SPP, CAISO, WECC, or SERC.
• Experience leading consulting engagements, analytical studies, or commercial evaluations in energy markets.
• Experience managing client relationships and supporting business development, proposals, or account growth.
• Strong leadership, project management, communication, presentation, and financial modeling skills.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree, MBA, or related advanced degree.
• Experience with PROMOD, PSLF, PLEXOS, Aurora, or similar market simulation tools.
• Experience with project finance, M&A transactions, asset valuation, renewable energy, battery storage, transmission, or large-load opportunities.
• Experience using AI-enabled tools, Python, R, SQL, or advanced analytics.
