Electrical Design Supervisor (HVAC)

What you will do

• Coordinate, schedule, and manage daily activities for the Product Development Electrical Design team.
• Supervise Electrical Designers and provide technical leadership, coaching, and mentorship.
• Review electrical schematics, recommend design solutions, and collaborate with designers, engineers, management, and creative departments.
• Ensure electrical designs integrate with other systems and support prototype and production launches.
• Develop design standards, complete bills of material, and support manufacturing issue resolution.
• Support DFMEA, PFMEA, CFD, FEA, and seismic evaluations while applying relevant electrical and building safety standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or another technical field with 5 years of experience in the HVAC or a similar industry, or a two-year technical degree with 10 years of experience.
• Strong knowledge of electrical and controls analysis for assemblies and electrical schematics.
• Leadership, communication, interpersonal, decision-making, analytical problem-solving, multitasking, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure team environment.
• Knowledge of UL, CE, NEC, IBC, and NFPA safety standards.

• Previous supervisory experience.
