Senior Mechanical Engineer (HVAC)

Company

Data center cooling manufacturer developing liquid-cooling and large-scale air-cooling systems for hyperscale and AI environments.

What you will do

• Support custom-engineered product development across liquid-cooling and air-cooled product families.
• Work with Sales, Marketing, and R&D to define product requirements based on customer needs.
• Analyze systems using FEA, analytical formulas, benchmark designs, and other engineering tools.
• Size and optimize pumps, valves, and flow-control devices, including piping layouts and material selection.
• Apply DFMEA, PFMEA, and DFMA to improve design quality and reliability.
• Create BOMs and commercialization documentation while coordinating designs with manufacturing, sales, and service.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited university or applicable engineering experience.
• 3–5 years of engineering experience; HVAC experience is preferred.
• Ability to work cross-functionally as a self-starter.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience with CFD is preferred.
• Ability to mentor junior mechanical engineers and manage multiple project activities in parallel.

Nice to have

• Professional Engineer certification.
• Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering.
• SolidWorks, DraftSight, AutoCAD, or Revit skills.
