Location: Remote or one of the listed U.S. offices in Kansas City, Philadelphia, Washington, New York City, St. Louis, Nashville, Los Angeles, Phoenix, Dallas, Bentonville, Las Vegas, Houston, Lenexa, or Denver. Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

Salary: $113,520–$198,000 in Denver; $119,712–$208,800 in Los Angeles; $125,904–$219,600 in New York City; $119,712–$208,800 in Washington, D.C.

What you will do

• Design advanced HVAC and building systems, prepare design documents, and perform engineering calculations.
• Lead mechanical engineering and design efforts from concept through project completion.
• Develop solutions for complex engineering problems and challenging building designs.
• Review drawings, specifications, reports, and analyses for scope, schedule, cost, and quality compliance.
• Mentor and provide technical guidance to designers and engineers, including direct supervision where applicable.
• Support quality reviews, design standards, business development, operations, risk management, and internal tool development.

Requirements

• Lead level: bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering field and 11 years of relevant experience, or 13 years without a degree.
• Senior level: bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering field and 15 years of relevant experience; equivalent experience may substitute for the degree.
• Advanced or expert knowledge of engineering design, A&E practices, applicable codes, design guides, and standards.
• Advanced proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD or Revit and HVAC design software such as IESVE or Trane Trace.
• Bluebeam Revu proficiency, plus knowledge of contracts, earned value, construction processes, and methods.
• Professional authorization to work in the United States is required; employment eligibility will be verified.

Nice to have

• Professional Engineering (PE) license.
• FE exam completion, LEED accreditation, or WELL accreditation.
