Electrical Designer III (HVAC)

Location: Grand Rapids, Michigan, United States. Work onsite Monday through Thursday; choose the work location on Fridays based on work requirements.

Annual base salary range: $56,800.00–$80,604.99 USD.

What you will do

• Design and document electrical systems, schematics, wiring diagrams, layouts, and control panel concepts for HVAC chiller products.
• Route and model 3D wiring harnesses using Creo Parametric.
• Create and maintain bills of materials, electrical assembly drawings, layouts, and engineering documentation.
• Develop component placement concepts and review designs with engineering and manufacturing teams.
• Support prototype builds, product updates, manufacturing activities, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Coordinate assigned design activities and deliverables with engineers, manufacturing teams, and other stakeholders.

Requirements

• Associate’s degree in Design, Engineering Technology, or a related discipline, plus at least five years of experience using computer-aided graphic solutions; an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
• Experience with SolidWorks, Creo, Inventor, Pro/Engineer, or CAD/AutoCAD.
• Ability to develop accurate electrical design documentation and meet project and product requirements.
• Ability to work onsite in Grand Rapids, Michigan, Monday through Thursday.
