EPC Superintendent (Solar)

Location: Full-time onsite jobsite in Plymouth, North Carolina, with travel required and scheduled time off every 3 weeks. Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship now or in the future.

Salary: $107,757–$140,084 per year

What you will do

• Supervise direct reports, subcontractors, and field construction activities through successful project completion.
• Recruit, train, coordinate, and motivate regional field construction teams while promoting safety and quality.
• Build relationships with project owners, architects, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders to resolve issues and maintain alignment.
• Review drawings, specifications, and submittals; conduct constructability reviews and develop solutions to construction challenges.
• Coordinate materials, tools, subcontractor meetings, logistics, inspections, audits, punch lists, and project readiness.
• Maintain CPM schedules, project documentation, cost estimates, progress reports, and updates for executive leadership.

Requirements

• Degree in engineering, construction management, or architecture, or equivalent experience including two years as an assistant superintendent.
• Approximately eight years of field construction experience at a supervisory level preferred, including three years in utility-scale solar projects preferred.
• Thorough knowledge of construction methods, regulations, and safety standards, including OSHA, NFPA 70E, and NEC.
• Strong knowledge of scheduling, planning, expediting, cost control, constructability reviews, and construction cost estimating.
• Ability to understand specifications across all trades, solve problems with urgency, and lead high-performing teams.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel, work onsite, and perform manual work when required.
