Supervisor, Electric Field Operations (Maintenance and Construction)

Location: Plymouth, Massachusetts, United States. The role requires travel between Massachusetts, Connecticut, and New Hampshire, work at job sites and customer premises, emergency restoration assignments, shift work, weekends, and rotational off-hours on-call coverage.

Annual salary: $126,770–$140,850 USD, with potential incentive eligibility.

What you will do

• Lead the safe execution of electric field construction, operation, maintenance, and emergency restoration activities.
• Prioritize work and allocate resources while coordinating with internal departments, other utilities, and outside contractors.
• Set employee performance expectations, provide feedback, conduct reviews, and address performance issues.
• Apply local union contracts and agreements and resolve related grievances and concerns.
• Participate in pre-construction reviews, approve operational records, and ensure work remains within budget.
• Promote a customer-first safety culture and respond to customer issues, storms, and outages.

Requirements

• Working knowledge of safe construction, operation, and maintenance practices for electric transmission and distribution facilities at primary and secondary voltages.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, computer proficiency, and ability to use applications such as Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Ability to maintain switching and tagging qualifications.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent related experience.
• At least five years of related experience and a valid motor vehicle license.
