What you will do

• Investigate and document NERC-registered protection system operations and develop corrective action plans.
• Perform troubleshooting and repair of electrical components including switchgear, transformers, and breakers.
• Manage and coordinate the work of multiple contractors and suppliers for site maintenance.
• Schedule electrical work activities and manage outage coordination.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure high-voltage tools and parts are available.
• Respond to emergency situations and provide 24-hour support as necessary.

Requirements

• Must be based in or near Lancaster, CA
• Associate degree in electrical engineering or equivalent high/medium voltage maintenance experience.
• Thorough knowledge of NFPA 70E requirements regarding arc flash analyses.
• In-depth knowledge of NERC standards associated with protection systems.
• Proven ability to read and interpret single-line, 3-line, and instrumentation diagrams.
• Valid state driver's license required.
