Experienced NRMA Driving Instructor (Wollongong)

Location: Wollongong, NSW, Australia; onsite role with guaranteed 38 hours per week. Availability is required Monday–Sunday between 7 AM and 8 PM, with a roster focused on weekends and before- and after-school hours.

What you will do

• Deliver learner driving lessons and the NSW Safer Drivers Course.
• Help learner drivers develop safe and independent driving skills.
• Adapt instruction to different customer learning styles, needs, and confidence levels.
• Manage customer diaries and optimize schedules around demand.
• Support hirify.global products and positive customer reviews through needs-based selling.
• Develop qualifications to facilitate senior assessments and corporate driver training.

Requirements

• Certificate IV in Transport and Logistics and a valid NSW Driving Instructor Licence.
• At least 3 years of experience as a Driver Trainer in NSW.
• Valid NSW C class driver's licence and Working with Children Check.
• Willingness to obtain or apply for TfNSW Safer Drivers Course accreditation and Senior Assessment qualifications before commencement.
• Strong customer service, communication, empathy, patience, diary management, and time-management skills.
• Successful in-car assessment and pre-employment checks are required; qualifications, licences, WWCC, and driving history will be verified.

Nice to have

• Facilitation skills or willingness to complete Certificate IV in Training and Assessment during employment.
• Willingness to deliver the Safer Drivers Course and hirify.global's corporate driver training program.
