Manager, Student Disability and Accessibility (Higher Education)

Location: Primarily Brisbane South (Nathan) or Gold Coast, Australia, with work across other hirify.global campuses as required. Some on-campus and work-from-home options are available.

Salary: HEW Level 9, AUD $137,165–$142,070 per annum plus 17% superannuation. Total FTE package: AUD $160,483–$166,222 per annum.

What you will do

• Lead a multidisciplinary team delivering disability and accessibility services across the University.
• Oversee the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of student disability support services.
• Provide expert advice on disability inclusion, accessibility, reasonable adjustments, governance, and compliance.
• Lead service transformation by developing efficient and sustainable systems, processes, workload management practices, and reporting.
• Use data, technology, evaluation, and sector insights to improve service delivery and student outcomes.
• Work with academic and professional staff to identify barriers to participation, access, and success.

Requirements

• Experience leading teams and delivering strategic and operational improvements in a complex organisation.
• Strong understanding of disability support in higher education, reasonable adjustments, accessibility practice, and the Higher Education Disability Support Program.
• Sound judgement and confident stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to lead through complexity.
• Relevant tertiary qualifications, preferably at postgraduate level, or an equivalent combination of skills and experience.
• Applicants must have Australian working rights.
