Electronic Instructor

Location: Randwick Barracks (PSTC), Randwick — onsite 5 days a week

What you will do

• Deliver instructor-led, blended, and simulator-based technical training for Defence personnel.
• Prepare, facilitate, assess, and complete post-course administration activities.
• Monitor trainee progress and provide developmental feedback.
• Maintain and improve training materials and course content using technical expertise.
• Collaborate with Defence customers to achieve high-quality training outcomes.

Requirements

• Trade qualification in electrical, electronics, or a related technical discipline.
• Previous Navy experience is highly regarded, ideally within the Royal Australian Navy.
• Defence, military, or technical training experience is preferred.
• Cert IV Training and Assessment (TAE40116 or TAE40122), or willingness to obtain it.
• Must be an Australian citizen and eligible to obtain an Australian Defence Security Clearance.

• Navy technical instructor experience.
• Experience delivering training in a Defence environment.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
• Background working with electrical or electronic systems.
