EPC Civil Superintendent (Utility-Scale Solar)

Location: Full-time onsite jobsite in Plymouth, North Carolina, with travel required

Salary: $107,757–$140,084 per year

What you will do

• Lead civil construction activities from SWPPP through project completion.
• Oversee heavy earthwork equipment, equipment maintenance, inspections, repairs, and operator training.
• Coordinate surveying, GPS, engineering activities, subcontractors, and in-house crews.
• Review civil drawings, provide constructability input, support scheduling, and complete yardage and tonnage takeoffs.
• Manage civil materials, third-party testing, underground cable installation scopes, and civil equipment.
• Plan and oversee temporary water management, dewatering, erosion control, and environmental compliance.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience as an assistant civil superintendent; 6 years of supervisory field construction experience preferred.
• Three years of utility-scale solar experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, regulations, safety standards, OSHA, scheduling, planning, expediting, and cost control.
• Ability to read civil construction drawings and specifications, conduct constructability reviews, and develop accurate project cost estimates.
• Strong understanding of civil construction equipment, earthmoving principles, surveying, GPS, and production efficiency.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future employer sponsorship; a valid driver's license is required.
