Production Team Leader (Manufacturing)

Salary: $63,500–$82,500 annually

hirify.global is a large bakery manufacturer producing bread, bagels, muffins, cakes, and donuts across a nationwide network of bakeries, sales centers, offices, and sales routes.

What you will do

• Lead production shifts and ensure products, equipment, and processes meet quality, efficiency, and safety standards.
• Deliver KPIs covering people, quality, safety, service, cost, throughput, and shipping performance.
• Identify operational issues, assign corrective actions, follow up on completion, and escalate unresolved matters.
• Coach, onboard, train, and develop associates while building accountability, engagement, and problem-solving capability.
• Coordinate priorities and issue resolution with department leaders, other shifts, and cross-functional partners.
• Reduce waste and downtime, oversee staffing schedules, and use tablet applications including SOMAX, Rever, Shift Guides, and Intelex.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2–5 years of experience in production, preferably in food processing or a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Strong verbal and written communication, organization, planning, leadership, and multitasking skills.
• Proficiency with computer applications, including Microsoft Office; Kronos knowledge is beneficial.
• Ability to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to read English, follow written procedures, work above ground level with safety equipment, and work in a non-air-conditioned environment.
