EPC Regional Manager, Utility Scale Solar (West Region)

Location: Hybrid with regular in-office presence in San Diego, California, or remote within the West Region: California, Nevada, and Washington. Travel is required.

Salary: $194,600.00–$243,250.00 per year.

What you will do

• Oversee multiple construction projects, ensuring on-time delivery, budget control, quality, and compliance with safety regulations.
• Lead project managers, site supervisors, and other construction professionals across the region.
• Manage regional client relationships and collaborate with business development teams to secure new projects and contracts.
• Develop project budgets, monitor costs, identify savings opportunities, and oversee Western Region profitability and P&L performance.
• Manage quality assurance, reporting, documentation, and construction risk mitigation.
• Coordinate union assignments and workforce planning under Project Labor Agreements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, electrical engineering, or a related field.
• At least five years of utility interconnection, PV solar, and BESS construction experience is recommended.
• Proven construction project management and budget forecasting experience in leadership roles.
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, building codes, safety regulations, and project management tools.
• Experience with union projects involving Project Labor Agreements.
• Ability to work in California, Nevada, or Washington, either with regular office attendance in San Diego or remotely within the West Region; travel is required.

• Advanced degrees or professional certifications.
• Experience building projects on Bureau of Land Management land.
