Commodity Specialist (Procurement)

Location: Tijuana, Mexico; onsite, full time

What you will do

• Support sourcing events by defining event structure, supplier pools, selection criteria, and outcome criteria.
• Collaborate with Planning, Engineering, Quality, Programs, Finance, Legal, and Manufacturing.
• Identify sourcing excellence and cost reduction opportunities across global commodities.
• Help continuously develop the Procurement function toward best practices.
• Deliver procurement objectives aligned with the company’s strategic vision.
• Participate in supplier risk assessments, risk management, and disaster recovery planning.

Requirements

• University degree, such as a bachelor’s degree, or equivalent relevant work experience.
• English proficiency required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
• Strong communication, presentation, organization, planning, and time-management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple competing tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong interpersonal, collaboration, ethical, and accountability skills.
