Supplier Operations Specialist

Location: Tlaquepaque, Jalisco, Mexico; onsite, full time

What you will do

• Purchase products and manage order fulfillment to support business demand, inventory turns, and supplier delivery performance.
• Track purchase orders, shipping, delivery information, backlog updates, reporting, and supplier communications.
• Manage supplier relationships, negotiate pricing, provide sales quotes, and drive supplier and process improvements.
• Coordinate with warehouses, logistics teams, and transportation carriers to ensure on-time receipt and delivery.
• Manage non-conforming inventory, product disposition, in-process failures, inventory aging, fill rates, stock rotation, and liquidations.
• Communicate order status and problem resolution to planners, sales, customer operations, and cross-functional teams.

Requirements

• 3+ years of relevant work experience with a bachelor's degree or equivalent.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience providing comparable knowledge and job skills.
• Thorough knowledge of the principles, theories, practices, techniques, and standards in the relevant discipline.
• Ability to independently evaluate situations, develop solutions, and exercise judgment and discretion.
• Ability to collaborate with management, internal departments, suppliers, logistics partners, and other stakeholders.
