Team Lead II (Electronics)

G&W Electric develops engineered electrical power grid solutions and manufactures products for the power industry.

What you will do

• Lead manufacturing employees across assigned processes and operations on the 2:00pm–10:30pm shift.
• Assign work and instruct operators on work techniques, quality, safety, and housekeeping procedures.
• Coordinate materials, tools, fixtures, production flow, inventory accuracy, and on-time completion.
• Perform direct labor, inspection, supervisory, and team training activities as needed.
• Audit work and internal processes, document findings, and ensure products meet quality requirements.
• Analyze potential production disruptions and communicate drawing or BOM discrepancies to Engineering.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience working in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to lead and coordinate activities across a department with diverse tasks and demanding schedules.
• Ability to read and interpret complex drawings and schematics and explain them to others.
• Intermediate skills in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Ability to understand and apply corrective and preventive action procedures.
• Ability to meet medium-heavy physical demands, including continuous standing and walking and frequent lifting, bending, squatting, and use of hand or power tools.

• Experience leading a team.
• Experience using an ERP system.
