TL;DR
Final Assembly Lead (Manufacturing): Leads daily assembly operations for mechanical and electrical water-system components while performing hands-on assembly, with an accent on production safety, quality standards, and team coordination. Focus on training assemblers, resolving workflow and quality issues with cross-functional teams, and improving manufacturing processes.

Location: Onsite in Fort Worth, Texas, United States. Minimal travel of 0–5% may be required.

What you will do

  • Perform hands-on assembly of mechanical and electrical components according to specifications and work instructions.
  • Lead and coordinate assemblers to meet production schedules and quality standards.
  • Train new assemblers and reinforce safety and operational procedures.
  • Monitor production workflow, output, downtime, and quality issues.
  • Work with Quality, Engineering, and Maintenance to resolve issues and improve processes.
  • Provide feedback on team performance and support additional production projects as assigned.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent, or relevant experience in place of a diploma.
  • At least 3 years of experience in manufacturing or assembly.
  • Understanding of and adherence to workplace safety practices and procedures.
  • Must successfully establish employment eligibility and complete background checks and required pre-employment testing.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods, move around the manufacturing floor, and lift, carry, push, or pull up to 25 pounds.
  • Ability to read documents, communicate clearly, and wear required personal protective equipment.

Nice to have

  • Prior lead or supervisory experience.
  • Technical certification or coursework in manufacturing or mechanical assembly.
  • Experience with lean manufacturing or continuous improvement.
  • Ability to read blueprints and use hand and power tools.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
