Application Support Analyst

Location: Columbia, Missouri, USA; candidates must live within a commutable distance. On-site, Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m.-4:30 p.m., with overtime as needed.

What you will do

• Support, configure, implement, and maintain business and laboratory software.
• Troubleshoot applications, laboratory computers, hardware, and data collection devices.
• Install, configure, unit-test, and maintain application software and instrumentation-related systems.
• Review and help administer releases, upgrades, service packs, security updates, and critical fixes.
• Support user requirements, application implementation, data collection, calculation, review, and laboratory reporting under 21 CFR Part 11.
• Coordinate with information systems, operations, quality assurance, administrators, providers, and consultants; train laboratory staff on assigned applications.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field plus two years of relevant experience, or six years of relevant experience instead of a degree.
• Authorization to work indefinitely in the United States without restriction or sponsorship.
• Familiarity with CGMP and/or GLP validation procedures.
• Clear understanding of 21 CFR Part 11 regulations.
• General understanding of laboratory applications and instrumentation.
• Previous laboratory operations and computer science experience is preferred.
