Senior IT Project Manager

Location: St Paul, Minnesota, United States; full-time, with domestic and international travel of up to 0–10% if required for project success.

Compensation: $96,500–$128,700 per year.

What you will do

• Lead large, critical projects from initiation through closure, managing scope, schedules, budgets, resources, deliverables, and project governance.
• Coordinate cross-functional IT and business teams, executive sponsors, product owners, internal customers, and third-party vendors.
• Facilitate workshops to define business and IT requirements and develop project documentation, including charters, plans, RAID logs, communication plans, and status reports.
• Lead Agile software development projects, support self-organizing teams, manage software releases, and ensure adherence to Agile and Scrum practices.
• Identify and communicate risks, create mitigation and get-to-green action plans, and escalate scope, budget, and timeline concerns.
• Mentor project managers, project coordinators, and interns while sharing delivery best practices with the EPMO.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, management information systems, mathematics, engineering, business, or a relevant field, or equivalent education and experience.
• At least 5 years of project management experience; experience managing large, 6–18-month projects across multiple IT and business departments.
• Experience with project management tools and methodologies, including the ability to adapt between Agile and Waterfall delivery.
• Strong written and verbal communication, stakeholder management, customer service, problem-solving, decision-making, and critical-thinking skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, conflicting priorities, international components, budgets, risks, and schedules simultaneously.
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 0–10% when required for project success.

Nice to have

• 8 or more years of project management experience.
• PMP, Scrum Master, or Agile certification.
• Experience mentoring project managers and participating in professional project management communities.
• Experience managing ERP or SaaS projects involving Salesforce, CRM, SAP, or Microsoft platforms.
• Experience using Microsoft Copilot to manage projects.
