Director, Quality (Manufacturing)

Location: Longview, Texas, United States. The role operates in office and manufacturing environments and requires travel between company locations up to 60% of the time.

What you will do

• Lead quality performance, execution, and results across an assigned business unit.
• Direct site Quality Managers and teams, ensuring consistency and accountability across locations.
• Embed quality into production processes, drive defect prevention, and improve customer satisfaction.
• Lead responses to customer complaints, escalations, and warranty issues while preventing recurrence.
• Execute QMS standards, including audits, document control, and CAPA processes.
• Partner with Operations, Supply Chain, Supplier Quality, and cross-functional leaders to improve product and incoming-material quality.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, quality, or a related field; a master’s degree is preferred.
• 10+ years of progressive experience in manufacturing quality leadership.
• 5+ years of experience leading quality across multiple sites in a matrix organization.
• Strong knowledge of Lean manufacturing principles and structured problem-solving methodologies, including root-cause analysis.
• Ability to influence cross-functional teams, analyze quality data, connect quality performance to operational and financial outcomes, and develop teams.
• Ability to work on production floors, follow safety policies, use required PPE, and travel between manufacturing sites as needed.
