Quality Manager (Manufacturing)

Location: New York Mills, Minnesota, United States; onsite work in a manufacturing and office environment

Salary: $103,200–$144,000 annually, plus eligibility for an annual discretionary bonus.

What you will do

• Lead the plant's quality strategy and day-to-day Quality Management System operations.
• Ensure products meet customer, internal, external, and hirify.global Boat Group standards and specifications.
• Build and develop a high-performing quality team through hiring, training, technical guidance, and performance feedback.
• Partner with Production, Engineering, suppliers, and customers to resolve quality problems and improve process capability.
• Lead efforts to reduce warranty failures, scrap, rework, supplier non-conformances, and the cost of poor quality.
• Maintain quality procedures, budgets, business plans, audit readiness, certifications, and safe work practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field; an associate degree may be considered with relevant experience.
• At least 5 years of quality management experience in a manufacturing environment, including assembly, and at least 5 years of leadership experience.
• Advanced knowledge of quality policies and procedures, quality assurance, measurement techniques, and statistical methods.
• Ability to lead reliability, capability, and SPC studies and teach these methods to others.
• Ability to understand and explain engineering drawings, including GD&T.
• Strong data analysis, reporting, Excel, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Nice to have

• Formal Six Sigma training.
• ASQ certifications such as CQE, CQM, CSSBB, or CSSGB.
