Quality Inspector Supervisor

What you will do

• Supervise, schedule, train, mentor, and coach quality control inspectors and technicians.
• Inspect and test raw materials, in-process items, and finished products against company, customer, and regulatory specifications.
• Conduct floor checks, verify procedure compliance, and ensure measuring equipment is properly calibrated.
• Place nonconforming material on hold and maintain records of inspections, defects, corrective actions, and customer complaints.
• Troubleshoot production and quality issues, perform root-cause analysis, and coordinate corrective and preventive actions.
• Analyze production records, test results, and quality trends; communicate findings and support audits and quality-system compliance.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Quality Management, Engineering, Food Science, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience may be considered.
• 3–5+ years of quality control or quality assurance experience.
• Prior supervisory experience is strongly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of quality control methods, tools, industry standards, inspection, testing, and documentation.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, leadership, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Ability to support compliance with applicable quality systems and regulatory requirements.

Nice to have

• Six Sigma certification.
• ISO 9001 or another industry-related quality certification.
