AVP, IT Finance & Partner Management

Location: Onsite role requiring work in the Dallas office; listed locations are Addison, Texas and Montpelier, Vermont.

Salary: $174,375–$255,750 USD annually.

What you will do

• Own the $150M+ IT expense and capital budget, including forecasting, annual planning, spend reporting, accruals, and executive budget reviews.
• Implement and manage IT financial management, cost attribution, showback, savings tracking, and reporting processes.
• Establish contract policies and oversee reviews, negotiations, pricing, service-level agreements, and lifecycle management for approximately 400 technology agreements annually.
• Partner with Legal, Risk, Finance, and executives to address third-party, data, AI, regulatory, and contract risks.
• Lead supplier governance through QBRs, MBRs, performance metrics, escalations, outsourcing contract execution, and vendor portfolio optimization.
• Lead and develop internal teams and outsourced resources while partnering with the CIO and senior leaders on IT initiatives.

Requirements

• CPA license required.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field and at least 15 years of progressive experience in IT financial management, vendor management, and technology operations.
• At least 10 years performing accounting and controller functions for a complex IT organization, including IT showbacks, chargebacks, and financial management tools.
• At least 6 years leading vendor management for multiple large-scale IT suppliers, including offshore consultants and outsourced resources.
• Demonstrated success negotiating complex, multi-million-dollar, multi-year technology contracts and leading teams.
• Visa sponsorship is not available; this is not a remote position.

Nice to have

• Experience in life or annuity insurance.
• Experience with Tableau and Alteryx.
