AVP of Field Operations

Location: Remote within the state of Georgia, Alabama, or Tennessee, United States; automobile travel to agent offices is required for approximately 20–50% of the time.

Salary: USD $167,000–$217,000 per year

What you will do

• Manage the success and profitability of assigned AMS territories and supervise the AMS employees responsible for them.
• Train, coach, monitor, and provide feedback to AMS staff to support profitable business production.
• Monitor compliance with underwriting guidelines, company standards, regulatory requirements, and service expectations.
• Build agency relationships through regular visits and effective agency management activities.
• Work with underwriting, small business, regional management, and SBU teams on financial goals, market share, agency appointments, and product marketing strategies.
• Identify performance weaknesses, implement improvement plans, and promote technology that improves efficiency and service.

Requirements

• Must be based in Georgia, Alabama, or Tennessee.
• Valid state-issued driver’s license in good standing and ability to drive an automobile.
• College degree.
• Six years of experience in commercial underwriting, agency management, and marketing.
• Ability to travel by car within the assigned territory and visit agent offices.

Nice to have

• Three years of supervisory experience.
