Nursing Faculty - Addison

Location: Addison, IL, USA; campus-based role. Full-time teaching schedules may include Monday–Friday, 9 a.m.–5 p.m., or evening and weekend availability from Monday–Thursday, 1–9 p.m., and Friday/Saturday, 8 a.m.–4 p.m. or 9 a.m.–5 p.m.

Salary: $70,000–$98,000 per year.

What you will do

• Deliver nursing instruction across classroom, online, clinical, laboratory, and simulation environments.
• Create inclusive learning experiences, identify student needs, and provide mentoring, feedback, and remediation.
• Lead or support clinical learning experiences and prepare students for safe, ethical, and professional practice.
• Contribute to curriculum development, course materials, program evaluation, committees, and graduation activities.
• Collaborate with faculty, service teams, and clinical partners in a matrixed environment.
• Engage in scholarship, research, knowledge dissemination, and ongoing professional development.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in nursing required; doctorate in nursing preferred.
• At least 2 years of clinical nursing experience required.
• Active, unencumbered nursing licensure or certification as required, with current clinical and regulatory credentials.
• Meet state-specific teaching, clinical, licensure, and regulatory requirements and be prepared to teach assigned courses.
• Experience creating engaging learning environments, with strong communication, judgment, collaboration, conflict management, and emotional intelligence.
• Proficiency with LMS platforms, simulation tools, and online learning technologies; AI familiarity is preferred.

Nice to have

• Doctorate in nursing.
• Familiarity with AI tools for teaching and student outcomes.
• Scholarly work in discovery, integration, practice/application, or teaching and learning.
