Principal Data Science & Analytics Consulting (AI)

Location: Chicago, Illinois; hybrid work with in-person attendance at an assigned hirify.global office at least two days per week

Salary: $168,750–$281,250 annually, with potential eligibility for an annual bonus and, for certain positions, long-term incentives.

What you will do

• Co-lead Data Science & Analytics strategy, capability investment, portfolio prioritization, and operating model evolution.
• Own revenue planning, capacity planning, resource allocation, and performance management across the consulting organization.
• Guide the design and delivery of machine learning, statistical, and AI-driven solutions, including model validation and production deployment.
• Partner with Solutions and Sales teams to define, commercialize, and position analytics products and platforms for client engagements.
• Oversee high-value analytic data assets, data quality, privacy, regulatory compliance, and adoption of modern analytics platforms.
• Mentor senior talent, support recruiting strategy, develop intellectual property, and drive process innovation and organizational productivity.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in data science, analytics consulting, or a related field within financial services or adjacent industries.
• 5+ years in leadership roles with enterprise-level scope and demonstrated influence on strategy, operations, and commercial outcomes.
• Deep expertise in machine learning, statistical modeling, and AI, including experience building and deploying production-grade model pipelines.
• Advanced degree, such as an MS or PhD, in a quantitative discipline.
• Ability to work in a hybrid arrangement in Chicago, Illinois, with at least two days per week in the assigned office.
