Reliability Technician III (2nd Shift)

Location: Del Rey, California, USA; onsite, full-time, 2nd shift

Compensation: $36.00–$42.00 per hour

What you will do

• Install, inspect, repair, and maintain electrical, plumbing, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and related production systems.
• Keep production equipment operating safely and efficiently by addressing faults before they worsen.
• Perform tooling changes, equipment setups, preventive maintenance, and work requests.
• Determine required materials, equipment, and supplies, and transfer equipment between projects when needed.
• Inspect completed work and major contractor installations, maintaining accurate maintenance and preventive-maintenance records.
• Identify premature equipment failures and generate improvement work requests using ultrasonic devices and other inspection tools.

Requirements

• Ability to perform Mechanic I and II skills with minimal to no supervision.
• Extensive understanding of the theory of operation for surrounding production equipment.
• Proficient troubleshooting skills during production equipment breakdowns.
• Ability to complete preventive maintenance and Reliability Department work requests with minimal supervision.
• High school diploma or GED, plus at least two years of education and training beyond high school in general maintenance, repair, or a related technical field.
• Five years of maintenance operations experience, including two years in a supervisory or lead capacity.
