Maintenance Technician II 1st Shift

Location: Delavan, Wisconsin, United States. Onsite work in a plant facility during the first shift, Monday–Friday, 7:00 a.m.–3:30 p.m.

Hourly pay: $27.00–$30.00 per hour, depending on experience. A $1,000 hiring bonus is paid in two installments after 90 days and six months of employment.

What you will do

• Complete preventive maintenance on CNC machines, injection molding machines, custom pump systems, and electrical test stands.
• Inspect buildings, equipment, and facility systems and respond to maintenance requests and emergencies.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, plumbing, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment with limited supervision.
• Maintain spare-parts inventory, source components, and document maintenance activities and repairs.
• Participate in Lean improvement activities such as Kaizen, RCCM, 5 Whys, and A3s to reduce downtime and costs.
• Assist with equipment setup and dismantling, safety compliance, and the training of junior technicians.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent plus at least three years of technical training or job-related experience.
• Experience with preventive maintenance, failure troubleshooting, and effective equipment repairs.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documentation.
• Mechanical aptitude with knowledge of electrical and plumbing systems; ability to use hand and power tools and operate vehicles when needed.
• Full ability to read and communicate in English is required.
• Ability to work overtime and perform physical work, including standing and walking for extended periods and lifting up to 50 pounds.
