Maintenance Technician II - 3rd Shift

Location: Faribault, Minnesota, United States. Full-time onsite position on the 3rd shift, Sunday–Thursday, 10:00 p.m.–6:30 a.m.

Salary: $27.01–$32.00 per hour, plus a $1.50 per hour shift premium.

What you will do

• Maintain, repair, calibrate, adapt, and improve production controls, power supplies, and equipment.
• Lead equipment maintenance, perform preventive maintenance, and rebuild parts as required.
• Install and repair basic plumbing systems and manage maintenance supplies using iMaint.
• Document maintenance work and follow approved safety procedures and business processes.
• Train Maintenance Level 1 employees and assist with work instructions, certifications, and special projects.
• Apply Lean Sigma and continuous improvement techniques to improve safety, quality, productivity, and OEE.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience, or a related technical degree with 2–5 years of industrial maintenance mechanic experience.
• Proven mechanical and electrical repair skills, including the ability to read basic electrical blueprints and use meters.
• Ability to troubleshoot with minimal supervision, use mechanical measuring and testing equipment, and perform basic plumbing repairs.
• Ability to use iMaint CMMS and basic Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to train others, work effectively in a team, follow documented procedures, and obtain and maintain a powered industrial equipment license.

Nice to have

• Experience with vacuum systems.
• Lathe and mill experience.
• Knowledge of Lean Sigma and continuous improvement techniques.
