Maintenance Technician II (Biomanufacturing)

What you will do

• Perform scheduled preventive and unscheduled corrective or emergency maintenance on facilities equipment, systems, and building infrastructure.
• Maintain and troubleshoot HVAC systems, boilers, chillers, cooling towers, air handlers, humidifiers, air dryers, plumbing, lighting, fire systems, and low-voltage electrical systems.
• Monitor equipment performance, building management alarms, and facility systems, responding to issues and equipment requests in priority order.
• Complete daily facility equipment checks, visual inspections, data entry, and maintenance documentation in the CMMS.
• Pull parts for work orders and communicate operational information, progress, and deviations to colleagues.
• Follow cGMP, SOP, safety, lockout/tagout, hazardous-material handling, spill-control, first-aid, gowning, and PPE procedures.

Requirements

• Experience maintaining facility systems, including fire systems, plumbing, lighting, HVAC, boilers, chillers, cooling towers, air handlers, humidifiers, and air dryers.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Two years of experience with relevant building systems, low-voltage electrical systems, and emergency diesel generators is preferred.
• High school diploma and skilled-trade certification, such as electrical or boiler operations, are preferred; an associate’s degree in a technical discipline is desirable.
• Ability to work a 12-hour day shift on a 2/2/3 schedule from 06:00 to 18:30.
