Senior Construction Manager - Aviation (Aerospace)

Salary: $179,064.64–$204,645.30 per year

What you will do

• Act as the primary liaison and airport or owner representative, directing project delivery and stakeholder interfaces.
• Develop and manage project scope, goals, budgets, schedules, contracts, and procurement processes for designers and contractors.
• Lead technical, fiscal, administrative, design, permitting, and construction activities through project completion.
• Oversee the Design Manager and Design Review Team through all design phases, including technical issue resolution, design changes, RFIs, submittals, testing, commissioning, and punch-list completion.
• Conduct field surveys and investigations, evaluate complex design and constructability options, and use field information to support design and construction decisions.
• Ensure work follows the latest approved plans, specifications, changes, submittals, RFIs, contractual obligations, and airport policies.

Requirements

• 15 or more years of professional experience, preferably on airport projects.
• Experience managing projects valued at more than $50 million.
• Experience with Design-Bid-Build, Design + CMAR, and Design/Build delivery methods.
• Proven ability to perform in a management capacity, with excellent written and oral communication skills and thorough knowledge of industry practices and regulations.
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Management, Planning, or a related technical field.
• Availability to work onsite in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

• AAAE, LEED, PE, PMP, AICP, or other relevant professional licenses and certifications.
