Program Director, Aviation (Cogen Facility)

Location: Newark, New Jersey, United States — 3 Brewster Road, Terminal C

Salary: $200,000–$290,000 annually

What you will do

• Lead delivery of a major airport terminal redevelopment and aviation infrastructure program.
• Direct mechanical, electrical, utility, design, engineering, and construction activities across planning, design, procurement, construction, and commissioning.
• Oversee multidisciplinary teams, consultants, contractors, specialty disciplines, and integrated program partners.
• Manage program governance, risk, schedules, commercial oversight, quality, safety, and operational excellence.
• Build trusted relationships with senior client representatives, owners, designers, contractors, and construction teams.
• Mentor project leadership teams and drive collaboration across the program.

Requirements

• Extensive experience leading major airport infrastructure or terminal redevelopment programs.
• Significant experience with Design-Build, Progressive Design-Build, P3, or other alternative delivery models.
• Strong understanding of central utility plants, mechanical systems, heating, refrigeration, electrical infrastructure, or related building services.
• Experience managing large multidisciplinary teams and multiple consulting and construction partners.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Architectural Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• Professional Engineer (PE) licensure is strongly preferred; aviation program leadership experience is valued more than a specific technical discipline.
