Superintendent - Aviation

Location: Arvada, Colorado, United States; onsite, full-time

Annual salary: $100,000–$125,000

Construction organization delivering aviation and other construction projects.

What you will do

• Supervise construction projects and coordinate field teams, subcontractors, and direct-hire personnel.
• Plan and maintain CPM schedules, coordinate materials and tools, and control project costs.
• Enforce safety procedures, participate in safety training, and maintain quality-control standards.
• Review drawings, specifications, and subcontractor submittals; lead pre-job and subcontractor meetings.
• Prepare project reports, approve invoices, manage punchlists, and document close-out.
• Perform start-up testing and coordinate turnover and acceptance with the owner.

Requirements

• Degree in engineering, construction management, or architecture, or equivalent experience including four years as an Assistant Superintendent.
• Extensive supervisory-level field construction experience.
• Current Safety Trained Supervisor certification, or ability to obtain it within six months of hire and maintain active certification.
• Working knowledge of construction trades, with prior experience as a foreman, journeyman, or project engineer.
• Knowledge of OSHA laws, scheduling, planning, expediting, and cost control.
• Ability to solve problems and demonstrate a strong sense of urgency; travel and supervision across a large geographic area may be required.
