Sr. Principal Integration Engineer (Semiconductor Manufacturing)

Location: Livermore, California, United States. Full-time day-shift position based on site.

Salary: $136,200–$178,815 per year, depending on experience, skills, and background.

What you will do

• Develop, optimize, and sustain integrated process flows across multiple semiconductor manufacturing modules.
• Investigate yield loss, defect mechanisms, and process interactions using structured problem-solving, data analysis, and DOE methodologies.
• Support new product introduction, pilot builds, production ramp, process qualification, and manufacturability assessments.
• Translate R&D processes into scalable manufacturing flows and improve yield, process capability, and reliability.
• Collaborate with process, equipment, yield, product, and operations teams to resolve cross-module issues.
• Maintain process-flow documentation, specifications, change controls, and qualification records.

Requirements

• At least 8 years of related experience with a bachelor's degree, 6 years with a master's degree, or 3 years with a PhD; equivalent experience may be considered.
• Experience with process integration, semiconductor manufacturing, defect analysis, metrology, and electrical measurements.
• Knowledge of design of experiments, 8D methodology, DMAIC, and structured problem solving.
• Ability to work across process, equipment, yield, product, and manufacturing functions with limited supervision.
• Experience with relevant semiconductor processes such as photolithography, etching, electroplating, MEMS, or MES integration.
