Process Integration Development Engineer (Semiconductor): Developing and qualifying process fixes for advanced silicon technologies while driving yield improvement and transferring technology to high-volume manufacturing with an accent on process characterization, metrology, and root-cause analysis. Focus on identifying critical process parameters, building yield improvement roadmaps, applying statistical process control and design of experiments, and ramping processes to manufacturing volumes.

Location: On-site in Hillsboro, Oregon, United States

What you will do

  • Lead activities supporting yield objectives for advanced silicon process technologies.
  • Organize and present process parameter summaries to Logic Technology Development engineering teams.
  • Partner with technology development integration, yield, and module engineers to identify root causes affecting critical process parameters.
  • Develop, qualify, and implement process fixes and create yield cliff parameter improvement roadmaps.
  • Ramp technologies to manufacturing volumes and transfer them to manufacturing counterparts using the Copy Exactly Methodology.
  • Drive quality, accountability, collaboration, and safety across teams and partners.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering, science, or computer/data science field with 4+ years of engineering industry experience; or a master’s degree with 3+ years of experience; or a PhD in a relevant field.
  • Hands-on experimental research experience in a relevant discipline.
  • Strong data analysis, problem-debugging, and communication skills.
  • Experience with materials characterization, fabrication, synthesis, metrology, or statistical/data analysis.
  • Knowledge of semiconductor processing, device physics, and design of experiments.
  • Experience with Statistical Process Control or Design of Experiments principles.
