What you will do

• Identify process parameters impacting yield and performance in advanced silicon process technology.
• Create and drive yield cliff parameter improvement roadmaps.
• Characterize processes using cutting-edge metrology tools and develop process fixes.
• Partner with TD Integration, Yield, and Module engineers to perform root cause analysis for critical parameters.
• Transfer technology to manufacturing volumes using the Copy Exactly Methodology.
• Lead teams to meet yield objectives and maintain high-quality standards.

Requirements

• Must be based in or be able to work on-site in Hillsboro, Oregon, USA.
• PHD in a related field (Computer/Data Science, Physics, Materials Science, Chemical/Electrical/Mechanical/Nuclear Engineering, Optics, Chemistry) OR Master's with 3+ years experience OR Bachelor's with 4+ years experience.
• Background in hands-on experimental research.
• Strong data analysis and problem-solving skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with materials characterization (SEM, TEM), fabrication, and synthesis.
• Proficiency in statistical tools like MATLAB, Excel, or JMP.
• Knowledge of semiconductor processing (lithography, etch, polishing) and transistor physics.
• Experience with Statistical Process Control (SPC) or Design of Experiments (DOE).
