What you will do

• Develop and execute experiments to optimize and characterize semiconductor manufacturing processes.
• Analyze process, defect, and yield data to identify trends, correlations, and improvement opportunities.
• Monitor inline defectivity, parametric performance, and end-of-line yield to maintain process stability.
• Investigate process excursions, determine root causes, and drive corrective actions.
• Manage technology changes and support the transfer of new technologies and products into high-volume manufacturing.
• Lead and participate in projects focused on defect reduction, yield, quality, reliability, productivity, and cost improvement.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in chemical, electrical, mechanical, or materials engineering, microelectronics engineering, chemistry, physics, or a related technical field.
• Knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing process flows and inline defect detection methodologies.
• Understanding of process control monitoring, statistical process control, process capability, specification limits, and process variation analysis.
• Strong analytical, data interpretation, problem-solving, written communication, and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate and influence across technical and manufacturing organizations.
• Ability to work on-site in Albuquerque, New Mexico, United States.

Nice to have

• Experience with Design of Experiments methodologies and high-volume manufacturing environments.
• Experience using JMP, SQL, and PCS for data analysis and statistical process control.
• Experience in semiconductor yield improvement, defect reduction, process integration, or advanced packaging technologies.
• Demonstrated leadership, teamwork, and problem-solving experience in a high-performing team.
