Piping Supervisor I Assembly I A-Shift Mon-Thurs I 50+ hrs (HVAC/Refrigeration)

Location: Redmond, Oregon, United States; full-time A-shift assembly schedule, Monday–Thursday, 50+ hours

Pay range: $77,789.00–$105,244.00 per year

What you will do

• Supervise and coordinate piping and refrigeration workers across assembly activities.
• Plan staffing and assignments based on production schedules, designs, specifications, and change orders.
• Train workers on equipment operation, procedures, and safety requirements.
• Plan pipe system layouts and perform installation, repair, modification, cleaning, and maintenance.
• Cut, thread, bend, and braze pipe; recover, charge, and evacuate refrigerant systems.
• Inspect and test work in progress and completed systems, resolve installation issues, and recommend improvements to production methods and equipment performance.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 4–6 years of experience as an HVAC technician or pipefitter.
• EPA refrigerant-handling certification, Type II, Type III, or Universal.
• Knowledge of refrigeration cycles, components, and controls, including refrigerant recovery, charging, and evacuation.
• Required brazing experience, physical ability to handle the workload, and ability to read blueprints and technical drawings.
• Understanding of BasX standard operating procedures and ability to apply safety, quality, problem-solving, delegation, and planning skills.

• Supervision experience and strong leadership and communication skills.
