Plumbing Foreman

What you will do

• Manage commercial plumbing construction projects, including schedules, milestones, materials, documentation, and project communications.
• Lead crews installing domestic, drainage, sanitation, and other plumbing systems.
• Coordinate plumbing and piping installations with other trades, project managers, customers, and building officials.
• Read blueprints, specifications, drawings, and shop drawings; perform material take-offs and create work plans.
• Ensure the safe performance of personnel and equipment while promoting company safety policies.
• Install plumbing systems and related materials using hand and power tools, including work from ladders and manlifts.

Requirements

• Approximately 3 years of experience as a plumbing foreman on commercial construction projects preferred.
• Approximately 3 years of experience leading teams of 1–5 direct reports preferred.
• English language skills required.
• Strong mechanical aptitude, mathematical, communication, customer service, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to read and comprehend blueprints, schematics, design documents, and equipment layouts, and perform material take-offs.
• Ability to pass welding, soldering, and/or brazing tests, background and drug screenings, an MVR check where applicable, and a physical ability test; reliable transportation may be required.

Nice to have

• Current valid journeyman license.
• Current valid master license.
• OSHA 30-hour certification.
