What you will do

  • Develop onboarding curricula, classroom instruction, self-study materials, and simulation lab scenarios for new hires and clinical staff.
  • Provide educational leadership on specialized patient care, clinical protocols, competency, and evidence-based practice.
  • Collaborate with medical providers, patient care staff, home health management, preceptors, and branch leadership on training programs.
  • Assess training needs, monitor learner and preceptor progress, and facilitate quarterly preceptor forums.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of formal and simulation-based classes and use data to improve program content and delivery.
  • Support regulatory compliance, clinical process improvement, benchmarking, equipment training, and implementation of practice changes.

Requirements

  • Associate degree in a healthcare-related field from an accredited or approved school; bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Five years of work-related experience in home health or a similar setting.
  • Current CPR certification and a valid, unrestricted clinical license in the state of practice.
  • Valid, unrestricted driver’s license.
  • Advanced clinical skills and knowledge of clinical protocols, regulatory requirements, accreditation standards, and preceptorship models.
  • Ability to design curricula, present to small and large groups, manage multiple projects, and use Microsoft Office Suite.
