EPC Project Engineer (Solar)

Location: Full-time onsite jobsite in Los Banos, California, with travel required. Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States without requiring employer sponsorship now or in the future.

Salary: $72,000.00–$90,000.00 per year

What you will do

• Coordinate project deliverables, documentation, schedules, and jobsite activities to support profitability and schedule goals.
• Attend project meetings, prepare minutes, maintain electronic files, drawings, specifications, logs, and record sets.
• Support CPM schedule preparation and updates, procurement tracking, expediting, and subcontractor document distribution.
• Evaluate field problems, document PCIs, manage submittals, change orders, extra work orders, and quantity surveys in CMiC.
• Track costs, labor quantities, time-sheet codes, accounts payable workflows, and labor cost reports.
• Maintain safety and quality management systems, document punch-list work, and compile O&M manuals, as-builts, and other closeout documents.

Requirements

• 1–3 years of construction-related experience or equivalent.
• Basic understanding of construction cost accounting, estimating, and scheduling.
• Ability to read and understand plans and specifications.
• Effective written and verbal English communication skills.
• Strong organization, independent judgment, and self-starting ability.
• U.S. work authorization without current or future employer sponsorship.

Nice to have

• Construction internship or field experience, such as carpentry.
• Drafting and advanced computer skills.
• Knowledge of virtual construction technology systems.
