TL;DR
Commercial HVAC Service Technician Level 3 (HVAC): Servicing, maintaining, and repairing commercial HVAC systems, chillers, heating equipment, controls, pumping systems, and air-handling equipment with an accent on complex commercial systems and electrical and temperature-control components. Focus on diagnosing and maintaining equipment up to 100 tons, supporting chilled- and hot-water systems, and performing field service with occasional overnight travel.
Location: Lynchburg, Virginia; full-time onsite role with travel to job sites and occasional overnight stays
Salary: $33.50–$39.50 per hour or $69,680–$82,160 per year

What you will do
- Service, maintain, and repair commercial HVAC systems and associated equipment.
- Work with air-cooled and water-cooled DX chillers using reciprocating, scroll, and screw compressors.
- Maintain chilled- and hot-water piping, pumping systems, variable-speed drives, and commercial heating equipment.
- Service electronic, pneumatic, and modular DDC temperature-control systems, including digital controls and VAV equipment.
- Maintain packaged air-conditioning units, water-source heat pumps, computer-room units, air handlers, and duct systems.
- Follow company safety processes and travel to customer job sites as required.
Requirements
- At least five years of commercial HVAC experience and broad knowledge of larger commercial HVAC equipment.
- High school or trade school graduation, or GED.
- Universal Refrigerant Card and Gas Fitters Card, including Type I and Universal certification.
- Understanding of single-phase and three-phase electrical systems.
- Valid driver's license and ability to meet the company driver qualification policy.
- Ability to work onsite in Lynchburg, Virginia, travel to job sites, and occasionally stay overnight.
