HVAC Installer (Commercial HVAC)

Location: Roanoke, Virginia, United States; onsite work with 10-hour days and overtime as needed.

Salary: $24–$32 per hour, depending on experience.

What you will do

• Lead the installation of commercial HVAC systems, including equipment, ductwork, fittings, and grilles.
• Lay out and connect electrical wiring, perform system startups, and verify proper operation.
• Review blueprints, specifications, and building codes and relay requirements to the installation team.
• Determine the time, materials, and personnel needed for assigned projects.
• Build effective working relationships with employees, contractors, vendors, estimators, and project managers.
• Mentor other employees and assist with additional trades as needed while maintaining safety standards.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• 5+ years of verifiable commercial HVAC experience.
• Thorough knowledge of HVAC systems and applicable codes.
• Ability to work 10-hour days and overtime as needed in heat, cold, and bad weather, both indoors and outdoors.
• Ability to stand and walk throughout the workday and lift or carry up to 60 pounds.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work in a drug-free workplace.
