Assembly IV - DFG/Pack Lead (3rd Shift)

Location: Wausau, Wisconsin, United States; onsite, 3rd shift

What you will do

• Lead advanced assembly work using all tools and equipment required across Assembly I–IV roles.
• Read and interpret highly complex and custom blueprints, work instructions, and standard operating procedures.
• Repair or refit parts and units that fail testing or tolerance requirements.
• Troubleshoot production issues and solve complex assembly and quality problems.
• Optimize processes to improve efficiency and quality, using continuous improvement methods such as Lean and Six Sigma.
• Maintain accuracy, production pace, safety, teamwork, and dependable execution across shift operations.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 5+ years of relevant experience with significant expertise in assembly or a related manufacturing field.
• Ability to accurately read and use measuring devices, including tape measures.
• Ability to use hand tools such as hammers, wrenches, and levels.
• Ability to follow blueprints and interpret work instructions and standard operating procedures.
• Basic computer proficiency for data entry and willingness to work scheduled shifts, potential overtime, and weekends.
