Truck Mechanic

What you will do

• Diagnose, maintain, repair, and refurbish trucks, trailers, and other mobile equipment.
• Perform preventive and corrective inspections according to company standards.
• Identify and resolve mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues.
• Conduct functional tests to verify proper equipment operation.
• Maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance.
• Collaborate with other departments to support safe and efficient operations.

Requirements

• Diploma of Vocational Studies in Heavy Vehicle Mechanics or equivalent training.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in heavy vehicle mechanics.
• PEP card and a valid driver's license.
• Proficiency with hydraulic, electrical, and pneumatic systems.
• Ability to use computerized diagnostic tools.
• Knowledge of occupational health and safety standards and adherence to safety protocols.
