Distribution Center Manager (Logistics)

Location: Fort Lauderdale, FL, United States; onsite, full-time

Base pay range: $100,000–$120,000 per year

What you will do

• Lead safety programs, training, team development, coaching, performance management, and employee engagement initiatives.
• Plan staffing and workforce capacity, including contingency plans for absences, customer issues, system failures, inventory exceptions, and equipment problems.
• Direct daily receiving, storage, assembly, replenishment, consolidation, inventory control, and distribution activities.
• Monitor workflow, productivity, quality, safety, inventory accuracy, on-time deliveries, and customer satisfaction.
• Manage distribution center facilities, material-handling equipment, fleet, inventory, and other physical assets.
• Prepare budget recommendations, administer the distribution center budget, and maintain operational records and reports.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years of supply chain experience, including distribution center, inventory, and transportation operations.
• 6+ years of experience leading teams, with demonstrated coaching and leadership-development skills.
• Experience with planning, staffing, budgeting, P&L, process improvement, analytical problem-solving, and decision-making.
• Experience with WMS, TMS, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office products.
• English proficiency sufficient for public communication, road signs, official questions, and operational records; must be at least 21 and pass a road skills test and DOT physical after hire.
