Area Manager - Floor (Logistics)

Location: Onsite in Fort Worth, Texas, United States

Salary: $65,500–$98,000 annual salary, plus performance-based bonuses and possible stock compensation.

What you will do

• Implement business plans for the assigned fulfillment area by setting goals, managing staffing and schedules, assigning duties, and coordinating workloads.
• Monitor productivity through business reports and analysis while maintaining facility quality and safety standards.
• Ensure associates receive training on logistics policies, procedures, quality, and safety requirements.
• Identify and resolve associate, customer, and supplier concerns through consultation and corrective action.
• Supervise, coach, evaluate, and develop associates and leaders, including supporting hiring and promotion decisions.
• Drive collaboration, integrity, customer focus, data-informed decisions, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Associate's degree in Business, Logistics, or a related field plus one year of supervisory experience; or a bachelor's degree in a related field.
• Alternatively, one year of Walmart Logistics Management experience, two years of Walmart Logistics experience, or two years of supervisory experience.
• Successful completion of all required job training and assessments.
• Ability to manage staffing, scheduling, workloads, productivity, quality, and safety in a fulfillment environment.

• Microsoft Office experience.
• Experience supervising associates.
• Experience with Walmart logistics systems.
• Bachelor's degree in Business or Logistics.
