Senior Communications Excellence & Channels Specialist (AI)

Location: Hybrid, based in San Diego, California, United States; onsite two days per week and as needed for employee events.

Salary: $90,000–$135,000 base salary per year, plus eligible bonus, commission and equity opportunities.

What you will do

• Manage and optimize internal communications channels, digital platforms and communication tools.
• Improve channel governance, publishing processes, standards and user experience with platform owners and stakeholders.
• Plan and deliver employee forums, leadership communication events, surveys, attendance tracking and post-event reporting.
• Develop dashboards, scorecards and reporting frameworks to measure audience engagement and communications effectiveness.
• Translate analytics into recommendations that improve channel performance, communications strategy and employee engagement.
• Support adoption of automation tools and AI-powered solutions for content development, planning, measurement and employee experience.

Requirements

• At least five years of experience in communications, employee communications, marketing operations, communications operations or digital communications.
• Experience using AI, automation and digital tools to improve communications and employee engagement.
• Experience managing digital communications channels, platforms or communication programs.
• Strong project management, organizational, stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Comfort working with data, metrics and reporting to evaluate communications performance.
• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Marketing Operations, Public Relations, Business or a related field.

• Experience supporting employee or corporate communications functions.
• Experience with reporting, analytics or performance measurement tools.
• Experience with content management systems, employee communication platforms or enterprise social platforms.
• Familiarity with change management, governance or communications planning processes.
